Last updated: December 31, 2024

1. Introduction

Welcome to SpeedySure. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using SpeedySure, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

SpeedySure is a trading name operated by SpeedySure Ltd. All insurance policies are underwritten by U K INSURANCE LIMITED, authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under firm reference number 202810.

2. Definitions

  • "We," "Us," "Our" refers to SpeedySure (operated by SpeedySure Ltd) and U K INSURANCE LIMITED (underwriter)
  • "You," "Your" refers to the user or customer of our services
  • "Policy" refers to the insurance contract between you and us
  • "Premium" refers to the amount you pay for insurance coverage
  • "Services" refers to all insurance products and related services we provide

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a UK resident
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract

4. Insurance Quotes

Quotes provided through our platform are estimates based on the information you provide. A quote does not constitute an offer or guarantee of coverage. Final premium amounts may vary based on additional underwriting requirements and verification of information.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After this period, you will need to obtain a new quote as pricing and terms may have changed.

5. Policy Purchase and Payment

When you purchase a policy through SpeedySure, you agree to pay the premium amount specified. Payment must be made in full before coverage begins unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed.

We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and other methods as displayed during checkout. All payments are processed securely through our payment service providers.

If payment fails or is declined, coverage will not commence until successful payment is received.

6. Cooling-Off Period and Cancellation

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you receive your policy documents or the start date of your policy (whichever is later) to cancel your policy for a full refund, provided you have not made a claim.

After the cooling-off period, you may cancel your policy at any time. Refunds for unused coverage will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, minus an administration fee of £25.00.

We reserve the right to cancel your policy if:

  • You provide false or misleading information
  • You fail to pay premiums when due
  • You breach any terms of the policy
  • Your driving licence is revoked or suspended

7. Your Obligations

You must:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when obtaining quotes and purchasing policies
  • Notify us immediately of any changes to your circumstances that may affect your coverage
  • Take reasonable care to prevent accidents and losses
  • Comply with all terms and conditions of your policy
  • Report claims promptly and provide all requested documentation
  • Not use your vehicle for any illegal purpose

8. Claims

In the event of an incident, you must notify us as soon as reasonably possible and provide full details of the circumstances. Failure to report claims promptly may result in denial of coverage.

You must cooperate fully with our claims investigation, including providing documentation, statements, and access to your vehicle for inspection.

Making a fraudulent claim or providing false information in support of a claim is a criminal offense and will result in policy cancellation and potential prosecution.
